The Alloy Steel’s Exporting and Importing Amount Has Been Raised in the Second Quarter

According to the data from steel ministry’s Joint Plant Committee (JPC), India’s exports of alloy steel rose by 95% to 257,000 tons during the second quarter, compared from 132,000 tons same period last year.
The country’s imports of alloy steel from April to June also increased by 29% to 358,000 tons from 278,000 tons same period last year.
Exports increased even the growth in demand from auto making and infrastructure sectors seem not increase.
The real domestic consumption in June has actually dropped by 11% from May to 6.2 million tons.
