China Steel Corp. (CSC), one of the major carbon steel flat product manufacturers in Taiwan, announced its new prices of steel plate for September shipments on July 18th. 

 

CSC decided to leave the steel plate prices unchanged. The company’s benchmark price of steel plate will be around NT$21,400/ton, and price of SS400/A36 will be NT$20,500/ton.

 

The price of ship plate is prevailing at NT$21,750/ton. Current demand for steel plate remained stable which is the main reason for the decision, according to the company. Meanwhile, the company will cut its supply by 5% in September due to equipment replacement.
